Observations and thoughts .
The number of bets advised is smaller than my personal exchange bets . This is partly due to the odds available when I post my bets . Horses attaracting early support , sometimes the night before racing , lose their value , whilst the drifters become value bets by racetime . Another reason for the difference in advised bets and my personal exchange bets is because whilst I am happy to regularly back 2, 3 or 4 in the same race it is not ideal from a tipping service point of view . Also the bets I have advised todate have tended to be my strongest bets coming from the front end of the market and attracting strong support .
In order to increase turnover and more accurately reflect my personal bets I am introducing variable staking . 1pt bets are likely to be speculative or minimum value requirement , 2pt bets will be the most frequent standard bet and 3pt bets will have high strkerate and/or extreme value. This approach will mostly affect strikerate negatively and profit possitively and will ideally be funded from a 150pt betting bank. I would estimate there to be around 500 bets pa .
